Excellent English and Spanish

I've lived in Spain for more than 20 years and have been translating for more than 15 of those. Full time, 5 (or more) days a week - I've translated literally millions of words from Spanish into English. And in language, practice does make perfect.

I've spent virually my entire working life writing. Before I became a translator, I was a writer and editor, working on magazine articles, historical reference, and a screenplay for a historical documentary produced by Spanish Public Television (that one was written in Spanish). Rest assured, I know how to write English.

Specialization = Knowledge

I only translate technical documents. Legal? No. Medical? No. Marketing? No. Just technical please.

The advantage of specializing is that I spend all day, every day, immersed in technical vocabulary, diagrams, and descriptions (which fortunately I really like).

This constant stream of technical translation means that I'm in continual contact with the diverse range of subjects covered in the documents, so that I actually understand what they are talking about.

Technology = Speed

Technology plays a key role in my work as a translator. I love technology, and more importantly, I love what it can do for me (and for your translations).

I use the most up-to-date translation technology to keep the vast body of translations that I've compiled over the years at my fingertips. Every word that I've looked up and researched over the years can be pulled up in a fraction of a second. This helps make me very fast, and also very consistent.
